Pioneering Researchers

Whereas literary references to lake monsters had been known through such authors as William Butler Yeats and Lady Gregory, it wasn't until the latter half of the 20th century that collective efforts were taken upon to study the phenomenon closely.  Three individuals in particular standout in that regard. The majority of the material presented within this site is respectfully credited to their pioneering research.
